Police reports: Westmont for Oct. 2

Information in Police Reports is obtained from the Westmont Police Department. Individuals listed in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

Theft reports, charges

• Sometime between 8 p.m. Sept. 23 and 4:30 a.m. Sept. 24, a bike was reported stolen in the 600 block of South Cass Avenue. The total loss is $160.

• Sometime between noon and 6 p.m. Thursday, jewelry was reported stolen in the 6700 block of Lake Shore Drive. The total loss is $700.

• Sometime between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday, clothing was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Pasquinelli Drive. The total loss is $200.

• Gerardine Dsa, 56, of 179 Willow Boulevard, Willow Springs, was charged with retail theft in the 0-100 block of West 63rd Street at about 10:25 a.m. Sunday.

Property damage reported

• Sometime between 4 p.m. Sept. 21 and 7 a.m. Sept. 23, three vehicles parked in the 0-100 block of West 63rd Street were reported damaged. The total damage is $500.

• Sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday, a windshield of a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of Alpine Lane was reported broken The total damage is $500.

License violations

• Wesley Smith, 35, of 309 Lakeside Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of West Burlington Avenue at about 10:50 a.m. Sept. 24. He was also cited for expired registration and operating an insured vehicle.

• Justin Vantichelt, 35, of 211 Hickory St. in Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 5900 block of South Cass Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24. He was also cited for expired registration.

• Thomas Duran, 48, of 316 N. Warwick Ave. #1B, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Cass Avenue at about 6:35 p.m. Sept. 25. He was also cited for expired registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.

• Aaron Bolden, 33, of 327 Church St. #205, in Rockford, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Cass Avenue at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday. He was also cited for speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle.
