Dear Editor,

Recently, over 100 supporters of the Western Dupage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) gathered at the Outback Steakhouse in Wheaton’s Danada area to raise funds for the WDSRA Foundation.

As a trustee, I want to thank the many friends who joined us for a delicious meal for their support. With the generosity of those in attendance, the WDSRA Foundation continues to be able to support the vast array of recreational and social programs WDSRA offers for people of all ages with special needs.

We also want to thank Outback proprietor Jay Ruck and his entire team for their generosity in pulling together this fundraiser and the great service they provided for our guests.

It was a special day for WDSRA made possible by many friends, both old and new, who support our efforts to serve our entire special needs community. We look forward to the next WDSRA Foundation event and invite everyone in the community to join us.

Sincerely,

Gregg Bettcher

Trustee, WDSRA Foundation Board
