Wheaton veterans shelter holds commissary ribbon cutting

WHEATON – Wheaton Mayor Mike Gresk (left), Jennifer and Vicki Landeck and Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans President Bob Adams (right) cut the ribbon to the new Freedom Commissary. The Commissary is dedicated in memory of Capt. Kevin C. Landeck, son of Vicki and brother of Jennifer, who died in Baghdad. The store will provide clothing, toiletries, furniture and more to area veterans free of charge.
