GLEN ELLYN – Glenbard South waited for over a year to get another shot at Elmwood Park after the Tigers ruined its shot at the Metro Suburban Conference crown last fall.

And on Friday night, the Raiders made the most of their opportunity.

Scoring on their first five possessions, Glenbard South cruised to a 48-0 victory to improve to 5-0 on the season.

Alex Jeske threw a pair of touchdowns to Clark Gary while Zach Smith added two touchdown runs. Also getting into the act were Jimmy Ebbole, who caught a four-yard TD from Jeske, and Jake Straza, who found the endzone on a five-yard run.

A 48-yard interception return for a score by Andrew Wrona rounded out the scoring.

The second half was played with a running clock.

Glenbard South travels to take on Riverside-Brookfield next Friday.
