Burr Ridge couple to donate millions to University of Notre Dame

BURR RIDGE – A Burr Ridge couple plans to donate $27 million toward a new project at the University of Notre Dame.

Matthew and Joyce Walsh will make the donation to the university so it can expand on its School of Architecture, according to media reports.

Matthew Walsh is a 1968 Notre Dame graduate and co-chairman of Chicago-based Walsh Construction Co., according to reports.
