WESTMONT – Bethel Lutheran Church is joining together with community members to bring the homeless and others in need new socks for the winter months.

The socks will be delivered to the People's Resource Center, at 649 Blackhawk Drive and Pillars domestic violence and sexual abuse shelter, 333 N. La Grange Road in La Grange Park. Last year, more than 1,000 pairs of socks were donated for men, women and children.

Socks can be donated throughout the month of October at one of three locations: Bethel Lutheran Church, 36 N. Grant St. in Westmont, Bank Financial, 5140 Main St. in Downers Grove, or Golden Basket Restaurant, 2 W. Naperville Road in Westmont.
