WILLOWBROOK – A Willowbrook man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly stole a Twix candy bar and drove off in a Mercedes-Benz, according to media reports.

Boris Petrovski, 20, was charged Sept. 6 at the 7-Eleven at 14310 South Will Cook Road near Homer Glen, according to reports.

A 7-Eleven employee saw the man come in at about 5:30 a.m. and started putting items in his pockets. When confronted, he drove off in a Mercedes-Benz, the reports said.

However, the suspect then reportedly flagged down approaching officers to ask for directions to Darien. He was arrested after officers found a stolen Twix, and Petrovski was charged with DUI, according to reports.
