National Pro Fastpitch player Rachel Folden to teach softball clinic in Westmont

All skills will be taught at Nov. 12 clinic at Westmont High School

WESTMONT – The Westmont Park District and Westmont High School will host a softball skills clinic from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 12.

The clinic will be taught by Rachel Folden, the 2013 National Pro Fastpitch Offensive Player of the Year, and take place at the high school.

A former Marshall University and Chicago Bandits player and a 2012 all-NPF selection, Folden will teach all aspects of the game to girls ages 10 to 18, including offense, defense, pitching and catching.

The cost is $50 for park district residents and $65 for non-residents, and the clinic is limited to 45 players. Some spots are still open.
