Lisle police: 'Insufficient evidence', no charges in alleged sex assaults on Benedictine campus
LISLE – Lisle police say there is not enough evidence to pursue criminal charges in two alleged sexual assaults on the Lisle campus of Benedictine University.
A statement released by the department at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday said police and the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office conducted a "thorough review" of the case and determined there was "insufficient evidence."
"After conducting interviews with all of the people involved in the incidents and reviewing the facts of the cases, the Lisle Police Department has concluded that there was no ongoing threat to public safety," the statement also reads.
