Hanover Park to host recycling event

HANOVER PARK – The village of Hanover Park will host its Annual Fall Recycling and Document Shredding event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Metra Commuter Parking Lot at Lake and Church streets, according to a news release from the village of Carol Stream.

Acceptable drop-off items include documents, working bikes, crutches, wheelchairs, prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, motor oil, anti-freeze, scrap metal, large lead acid batteries, household batteries, cell phones, ink jet cartridges, gently used clothing, office equipment, computers, electronics and fire extinguishers.
