Golf outing to benefit police officers, families in need

LEMONT – The Lemont Police Benevolent Association is taking reservations for its third annual golf outing.

The outing will take place at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 1, at Glen Eagles Golf Course, 13070 W. McCarthy Road, Lemont.

The cost of $100 per golfer includes golf, a cart, door prizes, snack and drinks on the course.

Dinner will be held at Crystal Grand Banquets, 12415 Archer Ave., Lemont, and will include an open bar, silent auctions and raffles.

To make a reservation, call Det. Sgt. Thad Mezyk at 630-257-2229 ext. 2425.

Proceeds from the event will go to officers suffering from serious injuries or illnesses, families in the community facing tragedies and various charities.
