HINSDALE – Acting Superintendent Bruce Law of Hinsdale Township High School District 86 has asked Hinsdale Central families and staff for their help in determining the attributes for the next Hinsdale Central principal.
On Tuesday, Law said an email would be delivered asking participants to complete a survey, which is being conducted by School Perceptions, LLC, to ensure the anonymity of the respondents and the integrity of the results.
Former Hinsdale Central Principal Mike McGrory left his role for a new job in Iowa at the end of last year. In the meantime, Tom Paulsen and Frank Kesman have been serving as interim principals.
In the email, Law said the survey must be completed by Oct. 12 so the data can be used to evaluate the applications for the Hinsdale Central principal position.
Candidates interested in applying for the principal position must complete the online application by Oct. 18, according to the email. It is the intention of the Hinsdale 86 Board of Education to name the new Hinsdale Central principal prior to winter break to allow for a smooth transition prior to his/her official July 1, 2014 start date, read the email.
