Clarendon Hills Park District to offer class to young drawers

CLARENDON HILLS – The Clarendon Hills Park District will present a "Young Rembrandts Drawing Workshop" from 11 a.m. to noon Oct. 14 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave., Clarendon Hills.

Open to young artists ages 7 to 12, this program will cover the basic concepts of drawing techniques. Using a step-by-step approach, participants will draw animals, action figures, still life, landscapes and cartoon characters.

There is $23 resident fee ($29 nonresident) to participate in this activity.
