BOLINGBROOK – Fountaindale Public Library will present its annual costume exchange event again this year.

As part of the library’s efforts to find new ways to be environmentally friendly by recycling and reusing, the library will accept gently used costumes in return for a certificate for one free costume.

Donations will be accepted up until Friday, Oct. 4.

The costume exchange event will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Meeting Room A for those who have donated costumes. Those who have not donated costumes may come from noon to 1 p.m. to select costumes free of charge.

More than 200 people participated in last year’s event, according to the library.
