LOMBARD – Members of Grace Lutheran Church in Villa Park delivered several car loads of disposable diapers to the York Township Food Pantry on Sept. 19. These diapers will be distributed to pantry families with infants, toddlers and senior citizens.

The diapers were collected throughout the church's Diaper Drive, which ran from mid-August through Sept. 8.

Grace Lutheran Church's goal was to collect 10,000 individual diapers, which they achieved.

"On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the citizens of York Township, especially those who benefit from our pantry services, I want to thank the members of Grace Lutheran Church of Villa Park for their generous donations and their public-spirited efforts to improve the quality of life in York Township," said York Township Supervisor John Valle.
