Aggravated battery,
endangering life of a child

Quinton Burns, 29, 542 Cottonwood Circle, Bolingbrook, was charged with obstructing justice, aggravated assault, reckless conduct, residential burglary and endangering the life of child at about 10:23 a.m. Sept. 17 following a call to the 300 block of Charlestown Drive.

Other batteries,
assaults alleged

• Marcus Washington, 41, 505 Preston Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with battery on Sept. 17 in the 500 block of W. North Frontage Road after striking a co-worker in the face.

• Anairani Estrada, 19, 6 Hampshire Road, Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer and aggravated assault at about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17 after a call to Vermont Circle.

• Marcus Washington, 41, 505 Preston Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with battery at about 8:08 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 500 block of W. North Frontage Road after striking a victim several times during a fight.

Vehicle set on fire

A vehicle was set on fire at about 12:07 a.m. Sept. 15 near the intersection of Blackhawk Lane and Shawnee Drive.

DUI, reckless driving,
hit and run

Adam Nikkel, 19, 862 Rebecca Lane, was charged with reckless driving, hit and run, driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and a traffic sign violation at about 10:07 a.m. Sept. 16 following traffic stop at the intersection of Seneca Lane and Schmidt Road.

DUI charges

• Stephanie Buczek, 28, 152 Seabury Road, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, driving on a suspended license and no insurance at about 11:27 p.m. Sept. 10 following a traffic stop in the 100 block of W. Boughton Road.

• Jennifer Calderone, 23, 7811 Brompton Drive, Darien, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol at about 10:04 p.m. Sept. 11 following traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive.

• Jalill Hudson, 18, 30 G Wildwood Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and no insurance at about 1:45 a.m. Sept. 12 following a traffic stop in the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive.

• Fernando Laguinas, 46, 2510 W. 83rd St., Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence at about 8:20 p.m. Sept. 12 following a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Boughton Road.

• Paul Delisio, 31, 15801 Peggy Lane, Oak Forest, was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance and equipment violation at about 3:13 a.m. Sept. 13 following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Delaware Drive.

• Tammy Ryder, 49, 715 Belmont Drive, Romeoville, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, no valid driver’s license and no insurance at about 2:42 a.m. Sept. 15 following a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Crossroads Parkway.

Unlawful use of weapon

Patrick Williams, Jr., 22, 443 Mallview Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with unlawful use of weapon and possession of cannabis at about 9:22 p.m. Sept. 11 after a call to Beaconridge Drive.

Property damage reported

• A railing was removed from a skate park sometime between Sept. 11 and Sept. 12 in the 900 block of W. Boughton Road.

• A parked vehicle’s four tires were flattened sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Sept. 15 in Lacebark Court.

Illegal possession of
alcohol, drugs

Demetrius Rogers 19, 452 Sauk Lane, Bolingbrook, and two 17-year-old juveniles were charged with possession of liquor at about 3:12 p.m. Sept. 13 after officers were called to an area near the intersection of Ottawa Drive and Seneca Lane for the report of suspicious subjects.

Resisting arrest

Michael Braxton Jr., 20, 1531 Shagbark Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer, illegal transportation of alcohol and illegal possession of alcohol at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 15.

Thefts and
burglaries reported

• Carlos Jimenez, 40, 346 Greenwood Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft at about 10:50 p.m. Sept. 16 at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive, after taking 61 tubes of lipstick and exiting the store without paying.

• Reymundo Zavala, 18, 449 Salem Square, Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft at about 8:45 p.m. Sept. 16 at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive, after concealing a box of condoms and exiting the store without paying.

• Maja Johnson, 28, 1675 Kiwa Drive, Naperville, was charged with retail theft after a theft sometime between July 21 and Aug. 15 from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road.

• Multiple bottles of liquor were stolen at about 11:50 a.m. Sept. 9 from Costco, 830 E. Boughton Road.

• An iPod and two GPS units were stolen sometime between Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Jennifer Lane.

• A license plate was removed from a vehicle parked sometime between Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 in the 100 block of Remington Boulevard.

• A mounted computer tablet was stolen from a vehicle sometime between Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 in the 200 block of Orchard Drive.

• An iPhone was stolen from an employee desk sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 800 block of S. Weber Road.

• Several bottles of alcohol were stolen at about 3:18 p.m. Sept. 17 at Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road.

• Alfredicio Taguba, 65, 1 Jelnes Way, Naperville, was charged with retail theft at about 3:20 p.m. Sept. 17 at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive, after exiting the store with a cart of groceries.

• A woman’s bicycle was stolen sometime at about 1:50 p.m. Sept. 16 from the side of a garage in the 1000 block of Ridgewood Drive.

• A wallet was stolen at about 7:40 p.m. Sept. 15 from Aloft Hotel, 506 N. Janes Ave.

• Stereo speakers were stolen from a vehicle sometime between 3 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15 in the 100 block of Greentree Court.

• A passport was stolen from a parked vehicle sometime between Sept. 15 and Sept. 17 in the 600 block of Sundance Drive.

• A rear license plate was removed from a parked vehicle sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Sept. 17 in the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive.
