New Elmhurst Art Museum exhibit features only museum holdings

ELMHURST – The Elmhurst Art Museum's newest exhibit features pieces exclusively from the museum's own vault.

Galleries are filled floor to ceiling for Inventory _The EAM Collection. The exhibit is the first one to dedicate the entire museum space to only EAM holdings.

Artwork spanning three centuries features artists like Thomas Eakins, Frederic Remington, Sonia Delaunay, Abbott Pattison, Tsuguharu Foujita, Peter Saul and EAM founder Eleanor King Hookham.

An opening celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 28. Art on the Run, a free family activity, will also be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
