Former Bear Peterson to visit Wheaton Sept. 25 for book signing

WHEATON – Former Chicago Bears running back and college All-American Adrian Peterson will be in Wheaton Sept. 25 to sign copies of his new book "Don't Dis My Abilities" and to speak about overcoming a stutter during his career, according to a news release from the Downtown Wheaton Association.

Now a motivational speaker, Peterson will share his story from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Two Shopaholics Boutique, located at 125 Front St. in Wheaton. His book can be purchased for $20 at the event and includes an autograph.
