VILLA PARK –  After a quiet first three quarters, Willowbrook's football team scored three times in the fourth quarter to beat York 28-13.

Wide receiver/defensive back Hayden Adams led the way for Willowbrook with three touchdowns – two on passes from quarterback Brian Johnson and one on an interception return.

Fullback Dominic Ravenna scored York's two touchdowns.

The game was tied 7-7 in the fourth quarter. Adams had scored on a 76 yard pass play in the first quarter, and Ravenna ran in from 5 yards out to tie the game in the second quarter.

Adams scored his second touchdown on a 15-yard pass at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

On York's next possession, Adams intercepted York quarterback Charlie Rose and returned it 65 yards for a touchdown. It was Adams' second interception of the game.

York scored in its next possession on a 2-yard Ravenna run. The Dukes tried to catch Willowbrook off guard by going for a two-point conversion on fake kick, but the attempts was stopped short of the goal line.

An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after the failed attempted helped give Willowbrook good starting field position. The Warriors capitalized with a scoring drive ending with a 3-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Devin Childress.

Willowbrook (3-1) plays at Morton next week. York (2-2) hosts Oak Park-River Forest next week.
