Downers Grove man charged with burglarizing home of alleged murder-suicide victims
DOWNERS GROVE – A Downers Grove man has been charged with residential burglary and theft for allegedly stealing several items from his neighbor's home several weeks after its occupants were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
The DuPage County States Attorney announced Friday that Kenneth Harry, 43, of 6231 Park Ave., allegedly entered the former home of Thomas and Jennifer Smith without permission and stole several items from the home.
Harry appeared in bond court Friday morning where Judge Elizabeth Sexton set bond at $250,000 with 10 percent to apply.
