CLARENDON HILLS – This year’s village road project in Clarendon Hills will include the reconstruction of Holmes Avenue from Harris to 55th Street.

It is anticipated that Holmes Avenue will be closed intermittently, other than for local traffic, beginning on Monday through the first week of November, according to the village's website. Commuters are asked to use north south routes other than Holmes Avenue during this time period.

In addition to Holmes Avenue, other neighborhood streets to be reconstructed during this period include Ann Street (Eastern – Sheridan); Bonnie Lane (Eastern – Short) Eastern (Harris – Ann); Powell (Eastern – Sheridan); Sheridan (Prospect – east limit); Short (Eastern – dead end); and Allen Court.
