Benet Academy announces the 2014 National Merit Semifinalists

LISLE – Benet Academy announced the following students from the Class of 2014 were named semifinalists in the 2014 Merit Scholarship Competition: Daniel Bensen of Downers Grove, Maria Hanna of Naperville, Stephen Hubona of LaGrange, John Stucky of Lisle, Daniel Weithers of Wheaton, Ryan Wolfe of Naperville, Mary Kate Zimmerman of Naperville, Ariana Zlioba of Lisle, and Nicole Zolman of Downers Grove.

Semifinalists are chosen by their high scores on the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualify Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors.

These academically talented students will have the opportunity to continue in competition for Merit scholarship awards worth $35 million that will be offered next spring.
