CAROL STREAM – The weather may have been dreary at the Carol Stream Park District’s CSBarks Dog Festival, but the spirits of pet owners and their pups were far from dampened.

More than 1,500 people attended the event, which was held Sunday at Carol Stream Town Center.

The festival included a dog birthday party, a dock diving contest, a canine agility course, demonstrations and an off-leash area.

The event also featured a Fido Mall, complete with more than 70 dog-friendly vendors.
