Adventist Cancer Institute approved for construction in Hinsdale
HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Village Board of Trustees voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a new Adventist Cancer Institute to be constructed at Ogden Avenue near I-294.
The 54,000-square-foot center is estimated to cost $48 million and is scheduled to open in 2015.
"It means so much for our community and the area as a whole because it's going to be a state-of-the-art facility for people who need cancer treatment," said John George, attorney for the hospital.
