York High School to host homecoming alumni mixer

ELMHURST – The second annual York High School Alumni Mixer will be held in conjunction with the high school's homecoming next week.

Sponsored by the York Distinguished Alumni Program (YDAP), the mixer will include pizza, a DJ, split-the-pot raffle and a silent auction. Prizes include a York student parking pass, a gift certificate valued at $2,000 from Advanced Orthodontics and eight gift baskets filled with donations from Elmhurst businesses.

The mixer will start at 5 p.m. at Doc Ryan's in Elmhurst Sept. 27.

Elmhurst's Potbelly Sandwich Shop on St. Charles Road will donate 25 percent of their proceeds made between 3 and 6 p.m. Sept. 28 to YDAP.
