CICERO - Two guests at a motel were robbed by a woman who barged her way into their room at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a Cicero Police Department report.

Police said the victims were in their room at the Cindy Lyn Motel, 5029 W. Ogden Ave., when they answered a knock at the door. The woman then forced her way into the room and, while holding her hand in her purse, demanded their belongings. The victims turned over a purse, cell phones, jewelry and cash. The woman then fled in in an unknown direction.

The victims told police they waited in the room for an hour then left and went to a nearby friend's house to report the robbery to police.
