ELMHURST – A woman from Elmhurst will co-chair this year's LUNGevity walk for lung cancer in Naperville.

Michele Bowles of Elmhurst and Melissa Fosco of Naperville have teamed up to lead the 11th annual Breathe Deep Naperville: A Walk & Rally to Stop Lung Cancer.

Founded by Naperville-native Renee Kosiarek more than a decade ago, the walk has grown from just 100 people strong to 500 walkers. The walk aims to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer.

In support of the walk, Potbelly Sandwich Works at 236 S. Washington St., Naperville, will host a Give Back Night for Breathe Deep Naperville from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 26. The sandwich shop will donate 25 percent of its total sales made during the four hour event.

The walk will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 9 and start at the Riverwalk Park Grand Pavilion in Naperville.
