BOLINGBROOK – A Bolingbrook man was arrested after allegedly trying to steal more than $400 worth of lip stick from Walmart on Monday, according to the Bolingbrook Police Department.

Carlos Jiminez, 40, 364 Greenwood Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at about 10:40 p.m. Monday after he was allegedly caught with $400, or 61 tubes, of lip stick that he did not purchase from Walmart, according to police.

Jiminez was then questioned by Bolingbrook officers and provided a fictitious name, according to Bolingbrook Police Lt. Mike Rompa. When authorities obtained the accurate name, they discovered Jiminez had a valid, outstanding warrant, Rompa said.

Jiminez is charged with retail theft of an amount exceeding $300, a felony. He is being held at Will County Adult Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
