Published: Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 1:06 p.m. CDT

WESTMONT – The DuPage Senior Citizens Council is in search of volunteers for its Meals on Wheels program.

Drivers are needed to deliver the food and check on seniors. The council is looking for volunteers in Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Naperville and Westmont.

“Schedules are very flexible,” Cathy Jordan, DSCC Volunteer Coordinator, said. “For two to three hours during the midday, volunteers might elect to deliver a day or two per week, while others choose to adopt a route for the entire five days.”

Background checks for volunteers are required and training will be provided. To become a volunteer, contact Cathy Jordan at 630-620-0804 or visit: www.dupageseniorcouncil.org
