Police chief to speak in Virginia on juvenile justice

Riverside Police Chief Tom Weitzel announced in a news release that he has been asked to speak at the National Summit on Law Enforcement Leadership in Juvenile Justice Sept. 26 in Virginia.

Weitzel will travel to Crystal City, Va. to work and discuss rethinking strategies in the juvenile justice system. Weitzel’s talk will focus on the release of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) national survey on juvenile justice.
