West Chicago seeks volunteers for leaf raking service project

WEST CHICAGO – West Chicago is seeking volunteers for its annual leaf raking event Nov. 2.

Both individuals and groups are invited to participate in the project to help the community's senior residents.

West Chicago Crime Prevention Officer Tony Quarto is organizing the service project.

Volunteers will meet at 7 a.m. at the Fox Community Center, 306 Main St., and return at 11 a.m. for a pizza party.

Those who are interested in volunteering or who would like to request leaf raking assistance at their residence should contact Officer Quarto at 630-293-2222 or tquarto@westchicago.org.
