Ultimate Faith church hosts 'Back-to-School Health Fair' Sept. 21

BOLINGBROOK – Ultimate Faith Christian Center is offering much more than medical check-ups at its "Back-to-School Health Fair" on Saturday, Sept. 21.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Ultimate Faith parish is hosting Loyola Hospital Pediatric Ronald McDonald Mobile Health Unit, Smiles of Tomorrow Mobile Dentistry, Mind and Body Chiropractic, Walgreens and the Illinois State Treasurer during the comprehensive health and wellness fair.

The Loyola Hospital Pediatric Ronald McDonald Mobile Health Unit will offer immunizations, vision screenings, audiology and hearing screenings, lung function screenings, asthma care and lead screenings.

Additionally, a 40-foot health mobile clinic will engage attendees in childhood disease prevention and education seminars, childhood health promotion tips, injury prevention classes and nutrition education.

During the event, Smiles of Tomorrow Mobile Dentist will provide teeth cleaning, routine check-ups and hand out toothbrush packages.

Walgreens health care clinic representatives will also be on hand to administer flu shots to adults and school supplies to students.

Water, food and ice cream will be available throughout the day.

Ultimate Faith Christian Center is located at 683 E. 83rd Street.
