Westchester hosts 9/11 Celebration of Heroes concert tonight

WESTCHESTER – The village will host its first annual Celebration of Heroes at 6 p.m. Wednesday to honor those lost or affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The ceremony, which will take place at the Westchester Memorial Fountain, located at Mannheim and Cermak roads, will include a candlelight vigil and music performed by a community chorus.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place at the fire station, 10240 Roosevelt Road.
