Police reports: Westmont for Sept. 18

Property damage reported

Sometime between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7 and 12:45 a.m. Sept. 8, a bathroom door of a business was reported damaged in the 200 block of West Ogden Avenue. The total damage is $100.

Drug charges

• Charles Moss, 34, of 11805 S. Hale St., was charged with possession of marijuana after officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Willow Lane at about 7:45 p.m. Sept. 6.

• Ashley Piszczek, 18, of 4034 N. Grant St., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of East Quincy Street at about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 7.

Domestic battery charges

• Gregory McGee, 32, of 300 W. 60th St., #C506, was charged with domestic battery after he struck a household member in the 300 block of West 60th Street at about 2 a.m. Sept. 8.

• Christian Acosta, 22, of 204 Memory Lane, #4, was charged with interfering with the report of a domestic violence after he took the phone away from a family member attempting to call the police to his home at about 10:05 a.m. Sept. 8.

Theft reported

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sept. 4, an iPod was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 0-100 block of East Chicago Avenue. The total loss is $300.

License violation

Sergio Velazquez, 18, of 1120 S. Williams St. #B5, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of West 63rd Street at about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8. He was also cited for texting while driving and an expired registration.
