Hinsdale police partner with Eve Assisted Living to help seniors

HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Police Department, with the support of Eve Assisted Living, will be presenting a senior citizen safety informational discussion.

Crime Prevention Officer Michael Coughlin will be speaking on specific strategies that the Hinsdale Police Department use to protect seniors in the community, and what seniors can do to better protect their property and environment.

Cindy Go, a volunteer for the Hinsdale Police Department, will also be educating attendees on the YANA (You Are Not Alone) program developed by the police department to regularly check on the welfare of seniors who live alone.

Eve Assisted Living & Eve Harbor will be hosting the event from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sept. 26. Eve Assisted Living is located at 10 North Washington St. in Hinsdale.
