Bolingbrook Park District hosts Cross Trail Classic on Sept. 21

BOLINGBROOK – A ropes course, ice bath, hill traverse and burpee endurance test are all obstacles ready to challenge residents during this year's Bolingbrook Park District Cross Trail Classic.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 21, the Cross Trail Classic is an all terrain race and obstacle course which starts at Indian Boundary Park and winds through the Hidden Oaks Conservation Area.

The course features ice bath and ropes course challenges as well as physical tests including burpees, push ups, box jumps and up hill sprints.

Registration fee is $18 for Bolingbrook residents and $20 for non-residents. Interested participants can register at any Bolingbrook Park District facility or online at: http://www.signmeup.com/94039

Race day registration will be available at the trail site, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The Crosstrail Classic runs rain or shine.

There will be an awards presentation following the finish of the race and medals will be presented to the top three male and female finishers.
