Affordable Care Act seminar planned Friday in Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK – The Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce and State Rep. Natalie Manley will host a seminar Friday about the Affordable Care Act and its impact on local businesses.

Running from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the chamber office, the informational meeting will answer questions about currently insured employees, SHOP Marketplace, qualifications for small business healthcare tax credit and selecting an appropriate insurance coverage plan.

Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace Regional Outreach Coordinator Giovanni Gomez will also speak to attendees, explaining what consumers and businesses need to do in response to the act.

After the seminar is over, a question and answer segment will follow.

The Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce office is located 201 Canterbury Lane, Unit B.
