Downers Grove Park district to host family genealogy research session at museum

DOWNERS GROVE – Residents are invited to learn the basics about starting research on family genealogy on from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Museum, 831 Maple Ave.

Topics covered include where to start, how to organize data, helpful hints and common pitfalls, discussion of free research resources available to researchers and an overview of resources available for purchase to researchers.

The fee is $12 for residents and $18 for non-residents. To participate, register at: www.dgparks.org
