Windsor Park hosts fun day for grandparents and grandchildren

CAROL STREAM – Carol Stream retirement community Windsor Park will host an Intergenerational Fun Day Sept. 14, according to a news release from the nonprofit.

The event, which will celebrate grandparents and their grandchildren, will feature two mobile exhibits from the DuPage Children's Museum and music from the Rockin' Fenderskirts, the release said. Face painting, a balloon artist and food will also be available.

Intergenerational Fun Day is the result of a new partnership between Winsdor Park and the DuPage Children's Museum, according to the release.

The festivities begin at 11 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. at Windsor Park, 124 Park Drive, Carol Stream. To RSVP, call 887-816-8307 or visit www.RetireAtWindsorPark.com/rsvp.
