Glenbard West bounces back, cruises to win over Morton

GLEN ELLYN - Coming off a season opening loss to Wheaton Warrenville South, Glenbard West entered Saturday's matchup against Morton with something to prove.

And it didn't take long for the Hilltoppers to make their point, as the home team scored early and often in a 68-7 win.

Scott Andrews put Glenbard West up to stay with a one-yard TD run midway through the first quarter. Andrews would later add a scores on runs of two and 12 yards. Quarterback Drew Vogg also found Hayden Carlson for a 24-yard touchdown pass as the lead swelled to 28-0.

Jermon Joyner and Donahvon Vaughn added TD runs in the first half.
