New Westmont HS athletic director named
WESTMONT – As the new athletic director at Westmont High School, Megan Wojtulewicz said she’s excited to take the program and make it into her own, working directly with the school’s coaches.
Wojtulewicz, a Brookfield resident, said high school sports are important because they teach students how to manage academics and athletics at the same time.
“Kids who participate in extracurricular activities do better in school because they have deeper support systems and structure,” Wojtulewicz said. “Athletics are about more than learning the sport. It’s learning to be part of a team, to be a part of something bigger than yourself, learning to win and lose – those are skills you can’t duplicate in a classroom.”
