CAROL STREAM – The legend of Justin Jackson continues to grow.

One week after going over the 200-yard rushing barrier, Jackson was up to his old tricks with a five-touchdown performance Friday in Glenbard North's 35-12 win over Carmel.

Scoreless after the opening 12 minutes, Jackson put the home team on the board with a 14-yard scamper early in the second quarter. He then added a 63-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Brett Gasiorowski before rattling off a 55-yard TD run and a 14-yard jaunt to the endzone to up the margin to 28-0 at halftime.

Jackson ended his night with a two-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter. He finished with 173 rushing yards on 22 carries and an additional 138 receiving yards on three catches.

Glenbard North held Carmel scoreless until late in the fourth quarter.

Evening their record at 1-1, the Panthers open up DuPage Valley Conference play next Friday at home against Naperville North.
