Westmont Library to host class on preventing blindness

WESTMONT – The Westmont Public Library is hosting a presention about preventing blindness for adults throughout the community.

The program, developed by Prevent Blindness America, will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 18 at the library, 428 N. Cass Ave. It will inform residents, 16 years or older, about common and preventable causes of blindness such as age related macular degeneration, diabetic-retinopathy, glaucoma and more.
