Woodridge Park District hosts Indian Summer Festival Sept. 29

WOODRIDGE – The Woodridge Park District will host an Indian Summer Festival at the end of September.

From noon to 5 p.m. on Sept. 29, residents will take a hayride from Castaldo Park, 3024 71st Street, to the Community Center, 2600 Center Drive. The community center will have activities for the families and consessions for sale.

The festival will also include Woodridge's 15th annual Build Your Own Scarecrow projects. Residents are encouraged to bring clothes for their scarecrow and hay will be provided.
