WESTMONT – For the second year in a row, Westmont Junior High School is challenging other District 201 schools to a Mad Hatter Day Sept. 20.

Students at the junior high will pay $1 to their first period teacher in order to wear a hat in school supporting the battle against children's cancer. Last year, four schools in the district raised about $676.46 for cancer research.

Westmont Junior High will also be collecting donated hats that the American Cancer Society will pick up for distribution.
