Western Springs police issue 63 citations during Labor Day enforcement

WESTERN SPRINGS – Western Springs police issued 63 citations over a 13-day selective enforcement period surrounding the Labor Day holiday.

The department parented with state and local law enforcement agencies across Illinois for the Click It or Ticket safety campaign. From Aug. 21 to Sept. 2, Western Springs Police issued 23 seat belt citations, one child safety seat citation, nine suspended, revoked or invalid license arrests, 12 uninsured vehicle citations and 18 speeding citations.
