WEST CHICAGO – After winning a combined 30 matches over the past two seasons, West Chicago faces a bit of a rebuilding project this fall with a lot of new faces on the field.
The talent is expected to be there for the Wildcats, it is just a matter of when it will all come together.
“I feel strongly about this year’s group of guys,” said coach Jose Villa. “They are working hard and getting better each and every practice. There are a lot of new faces and not as much varsity experience, but they are feeling more and more comfortable with every game.”
West Chicago does return a midfielder in Vicente Tirado, who is the team’s captain. Also back are senior goalie Paolino Mansera and junior defender Jesus Fernandez.
