Midwestern University welcomes new speech-language pathology students

DOWNERS GROVE – Midwestern University recently welcomed the inaugural class of 42 speech-language pathology students to its Downers Grove campus.

Students in the program will earn a Master of Science degree and be prepared to address the needs of people with communication and swallowing disorders of any age, from infancy through adulthood.

Prospective students wishing to learn more about this new degree program are invited to attend one of two open houses: 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 2. or 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 16.

The open house will include an overview of the program, an introduction to the speech-language pathology faculty, information about the admissions process, and a tour of campus. Interested students were asked to RSVP to the open house by calling 630-515-6343 or emailing dkotth@midwestern.edu.

Later this fall, the university will also open the Speech-Language Institute as part of the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic.
