Lisle Chamber announces plans for craft beer festival

LISLE – The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for the village of Lisle's first craft beer festival, the Lisle Ale Fest.

The inaugural event will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at the corner of Burlington Avenue and Main Street and feature more than 80 unique craft beers from brewers across the country, as well as area blues musicians and BBQ provided by local Lisle businesses.

General admission tickets are $40. Festival attendees will receive 18 drink tickets, which can be exchanged at each participating brewery booth for a three-ounce sample. Additional tickets can be purchased for 50 cents per ticket.

The Lisle Area Chamber, as well as the Lisle Rotary, Lisle Lions, Kiwanis, St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus and the Lisle Woman’s Club will be the beneficiaries of proceeds from the fest.
