Lyons Township's Marcell Kellum dives his way into the end zone for a touchdown during their home game against Warren Township Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.

Who: Lyons Township vs. Willowbrook

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday

Where: Bennett Field, 4900 Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs

Records: Lyons Township 0-1, Willowbrook 0-1

Outlook: Both teams will be looking to get on the winning track after losing winnable openers. LT will hope to move past the 21-point fourth quarter lead that turned into a loss to Warren and Willowbrook is hoping to rebound from losing to rival Glenbard East 28-21. The Lions will receive a boost from the expected return of junior quarterback Tommy Fiedler. The Warriors have some talented skill players on offense in quarterback Brian Johnson, running back Jeremy Barnes and wide receiver Devin Childress, but two fourth quarter turnovers doomed them against Glenbard East. The last time LT and Willowbrook met was 2002, when the Lions won 35-14.

Who: Riverside Brookfield vs. Lemont

When: 7 p.m. Friday

Where: 160 Ridgewood Rd., Riverside

Records: Riverside Brookfield 0-1, Lemont 0-1

Outlook: It's a short week for RB, which played St. Francis on Sunday. The Bulldogs will have to get back in gear quickly for the home opener. Lemont made the Class 6A semifinals and beat RB 42-0 last year, but the Indians are a very different team this fall. The Indians lost to Plainfield South 28-13 on Saturday. Lemont has knocked off RB in Week 2 the past three years by a combined score of 123-8.

Who: Morton at Glenbard West

When: 1:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Duchon Field, 670 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn

Records: Morton 0-1, Glenbard West 0-1

Outlook: After falling short against Rich South in the opener, Morton has the unenviable task of playing Glenbard West after a loss. The defending Class 7A champions lost to Wheaton Warrenville South 17-14 on Saturday after going undefeated in 2012. The Hilltoppers will be looking to take out their frustrations on the Mustangs, which will be trying to pull the upset and avoid an 0-2 hole.

Who: Nazareth vs. Julian

When: 1 p.m. Saturday

Where: Valenta Stadium, 1209 W. Ogden Ave., La Grange Park

Records: Nazareth 1-0, Julian 0-1

Outlook: Nazareth will be expected to move to 2-0 in its home opener against Julian. The Chicago school lost to Robeson 42-0 in its opener. Last season the Roadrunners beat Julian 48-12, also in Week 2.
